SidePot Entry Rules

For the SWEEPS (a.k.a. Skins), we use the GROSS scores on the holes within your flight. You are only competing against those in your flight that have signed up for that side pot. You have to be the only player in your flight with the low score on a particular hole. If two guys eagle the same hole, no one wins, but if only one person pars a hole and that is the low score for the hole in the flight, that is a winner. As a general rule, the handicaps for each of the four flights we use are as follows A 0-7, B 8-13, C 14-19 and D 20 and above.

The HONEYPOT is shooting a NET 70 or better. If you get a net 70 it pays, net 71 does not.

In BEAT THE PRO you have to beat the pro with your NET score. Tying the pro does not win. Most of the time the pro is Bruce McDaniel. If Bruce doesn't play, we designate a strong club player before that player tees off. If the pro beats the field he wins the pot.

For PAR 18 you have to get a GROSS par on the 18th hole. Net par does not count.

For PAR ALL THE PAR 3s you have to have at least a GROSS par on the 5th, 12th and 16th holes. If you get a birdie and a bogey and still score nine strokes, that does NOT pay. You have to at least par all three. The Senior tournaments allow for a score of nine to win; the regular tournaments do not.

The AUXILIARY POT is a game for closest to the pin on the 12th, 15th, and 16th holes. After you have paid $5 to get into this pot, there are two groups. The first is for 0-12 handicaps and the second is 13 and above. Of course the 15th hole is the closest 2nd shot since it is a par four. It really helps to enter your distance in feet and inches. For example 2 feet 4 inches, or 2'4" rather than 28". Sometimes people see 28" and think it is 28 feet.

The fifth hole is always our CLOSEST TO THE PIN hole that is open to everyone and it pays $50.

The last side pot is LOW GROSS. This is Low Gross for the whole field. Usually there are only about five to ten players that get into this pot.
